But this is not how a Words of Affirmation love language person views the world. Words (talk) is everything to them.
I got this wrong for 20 years but am now a recovering “talk is cheap” believer. I now understand that just as much as my love language is foreign to my spouse, Words of Affirmation are foreign to me.
For too many years, we’ve been talking in foreign languages to each other in our own home.
You can imagine how well that works…
Once you realize this, things can begin to change. That’s what this blog (and this community) is all about. No matter where you are in your journey, I’m glad you’re here. I’m glad you’re reaching out for more information, more resources, more community. My question today is: How can I help?
