Fondness and Admiration Challenge: Week 3, Day 1

Here is my next installment of the John Gottman Principle #2 Fondness and Admiration Challenge

Week 3, Day 1:

  1. Thought: My home is a place to come to get support and reduce stress.
  2. Task: list a time when your spouse helped you reduce stress.
  3. Response: I thanked my wife for creating our physical home that keeps the crazy out and allows it to be stress free. I don’t dread walking in the door and that has not always been the case in our marriage.
  4. Reaction: She said that she tries but doesn’t always succeed and I thanked her again and told her that I appreciate the effort she puts in to do that.
